Smart-Trak
flight control software builds on the benefits of Flight-Trak by
adding advanced software that ensures superb responsiveness at all
throttle settings as well as two different flight modes-Standard and
Expert. Both modes take advantage of proportional steering and
throttle, as well as proportional trim levers.
Standard Mode
With Standard Mode software activated, Smart-Trak uses time-based
calculations to precisely adjust control surface travel so that a
beginner can enjoy superb responsiveness at all throttle settings
without over controlling and enter a spiral dive. For instance, to
prevent over controlling at high throttle settings Smart-Trak
monitors the pilot's input. If it calculates the pilot is in danger
of entering a spiral, Smart-Trak will reduce control surface travel
to compensate. Likewise, when the throttle is reduced, Smart-Trak
Standard Mode software will increase control surface travel to
compensate for the lack of airflow over the surfaces.
Here's how it works:

1.
Smart-Trak standard mode monitors steering and throttle input
2.
Smart-Trak uses time-based calculations and predicts response to
control inputs
3.
Smart-Trak offers a strong initial response but will reduce the
control surface movements if it predicts loss of control
Expert Mode
Once the beginner is comfortable flying in Standard Mode, they can
access Smart-Trak's Expert Mode. Expert Mode removes the time-based
compensation of Standard Mode allowing pilots to exercise full
control authority at any throttle setting for extreme turning
performance, combat, or exciting aerobatics.
