Unique Flying Experience
ParkZone™
Charge-and-Fly™ aircraft take you light years beyond the
typical ready-to-fly park flyer experience with RC innovations
like Mode Change Flight Control™ software and the exclusive
X-Port™ plug-and-play accessory system.
Mode Change Flight Control
Software
All ParkZone aircraft come equipped with some form of Mode
Change Flight Control (MCFC) software. MCFC software allows
you to tailor a ParkZone airplane's in-flight handling to suit
your skill level by switching flight modes either from the
transmitter or manually in the airplane itself.
Each plane comes from the factory with its default flight mode
set for the relatively new RC pilot. In this type of mode, the
MCFC software acts as an on-board copilot and assists a pilot
by coupling rudder and elevator, limiting control surface
movement to keep from getting into an unrecoverable situation.
Once pilots are comfortable flying in the default mode, they
can select more advanced flight modes that give them complete
control of all the aircraft's flight controls.
X-Port Plug-n-Play Accessory
System
Several ParkZone aircraft are equipped with the exclusive
X-Port™ accessory system.
X-Port lets you add exciting capabilities like air-to-air
combat and a parachute release simply by attaching and
plugging in optional accessories like the Sonic Combat Module™
and Aerial Drop Module™.
Sonic
Combat Module (HBZ4020)
The Sonic Combat Module emits a sonic "blast" with an
effective range of up to 80 feet. To score a hit, get within
80 feet of another SCM-equipped ParkZone or HobbyZone® plane,
lock onto their tail, and fire. When hit, the victim's Sonic
Combat Module will emit a high-pitched tone and disable their
motor for 10 seconds. During this time, they will still have
directional control so they can maneuver into position for a
counter attack or make a safe landing.
Aerial Drop Module (HBZ6023)
Challenge friends to target practice or see who can get the
longest parachute hang-time with the Aerial Drop Module. The
ADM uses an innovative electromagnetic release mechanism that
let's X-Port-equipped ParkZone and HobbyZone airplanes drop a
streamer bomb or parachute, both of which are included.
